DanceVersity World Dance Summer Camp 2012 

Give your child the unique opportunity to explore how people around the world express
themselves through dance!  The DanceVersity World Dance Summer Camp is geared
for ages 7-18 and appropriate for dancers of all levels.  Each weekly session will include dances from the folk, classical, social and theatrical traditions within a large regional area.
Eight different styles will be introduced each week along with a music and/or art session

Camp Session Dates:

July 30th - Aug 3rd - The Americas

August 6 - 10th- Asia and the Middle East 

August 13th - 17th - Africa, Middle East and Europe

Each day consists of a morning warm-up, two classes, a lunch break, an art or music class and then two more dance styles.

Full Day Tuition (9 am - 4 pm*):  $340 ($380 after 5/13/12)                                         
*Extended care available until 5 pm.

Half Day Tuition: $170*  ($190 after 5/13/12)
*Morning session 9 am - 12 pm, afternoon session 1 pm - 4 pm

• 8 styles of dance from around the world will be taught each week by professional performing artists, instructors, and scholars.
  
  
• Every Friday afternoon at 3pm family and friends will be treated to a colorful and inspiring display of what the students learned that week.
  
  
• Classes are held at Berkeley's historic Ashkenaz Music and Dance Community Center, an organization that has served our community as a center of world music and dance for decades.
